My name is IRENE LEON .
I am a PROFESSIONAL SOLO PIANIST, PIANO & VOCAL TEACHER AND ACCOMPANIST.
I have 19 years of Russian Professional Music Education.
Honors Diploma from Russian Conservatory (Academy) of Music.
Masters Degree in Music, Specializing in Classical Piano and Choral Conducting.
Over 30 years International Professional Performing & Teaching Experience in Classical Music.
I am offering PRIVATE PIANO and VOCAL LESSONS for CHILDREN of all ages (as young as 3 yrs.old) and ADULTS .

I teach all levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced to professional.
I teach Piano and Vocal of different styles and genres of music (from World Classical to Popular Contemporary) as well as Music Theory, Solfeggio and Composition.
FOUNDATION OF MY TEACHING STYLE IS BASED ON THE TRADITIONS OF THE RUSSIAN AND EUROPEAN CLASSICAL PIANO AND VOCAL SCHOOLS.
IN MY INSTRUCTION I USE FAMOUSE AND UNIQUE RUSSIAN AND EUROPEAN MUSIC SCHOOL TEACHING METHODS WHICH CONSIST OF :
1. Developing strong technique basic: fingers strength, agility and independence. First of all, every student learns proper hand and finger position, Also they learn specially developed piano exercises, scales, chords & arpeggios and all other necessary technical work according to his current level of progress to increase the flexibility of hands and fingers.
2. Getting sight- reading and sight-playing skills, working on increasing attention span, focus, concentration and memory abilities;
3. Ear and voice training and rhythm. Learning proper singing techniques to open up your voice; breath support control; increasing voice range and vocal stamina.
4. Improving student`s musicality : working on creative side of every student through expressing feelings, imagination and emotions.
5. Building a solid foundation and good knowledge in Music Theory.
6. Getting and developing performance skills playing in our
ANNUAL SUMMER RECITALS.
Many of my students are winners of various PIANO COMPETITIONS.
Since my goal and my teaching method differ significantly from American music school,
EACH OF MY LESSONS LASTS 60 MINUTES.
FOR ADVANCED LEVEL STUDENTS I OFFER
90 MIN. LESSONS.
RATES: 60 MIN class is $75.00.
90 MIN class is $110.00.
ALL STUDENTS NEED TO TAKE LESSONS
MINIMUM ONES A WEEK. .
Lessons are offered IN PERSON or ONLINE in both ENGLISH and RUSSIAN.
